FDA Warns Zantac May Contain Carcinogenic Contaminants

On September 13th, 2019, the FDA released an advisory warning American consumers that a contaminant known as N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) was found to exist in numerous medicines, including the popular heartburn medication Zantac.

NDMA is classified as a probable human carcinogen (a substance that could cause cancer) based on results from laboratory tests. Zantac may come in prescription or Over-The-Counter varieties, but so far all forms have been found to contain this contaminant.

If you were prescribed or regularly used Zantac, or any other ranitidine-based medication, Hekmat Law Group wants to meet with you, free of charge. You may be eligible for any medical expenses or pain and suffering you are going through.
